Should Auld Selfies be Forgot…? (2013 in Review)

2012 was one of the more tricky years of my life, and I went into 2013 determined to just get better. I was struggling to walk in a cast and not able to work. It was a very trying start to the year. I don’t really do resolutions, but I aimed to improve on what I could.

It’s been an incredible 12 months since then. I learned to run again, and competed in two running races and an endurance race. I went to Oman, to Dubai, to Germany, France, Luxembourg and the United States. I started writing for two football blogs, and started reviewing shows. I started my little blog, which is now nearly at 10,000 views for the year.

I entered art pieces in two charity events. I wrote as an embedded journalist for an incredible dance project. I was part of a creative team that won an award in Japan for a gay rights awareness campaign.

I tried harder with old friends, and made new friends, and all of that contributed to a brilliant year. Here’s a little video of picture highlights.

Thank you to everyone for your support this year. Here’s to 2014.
